1994 S10 Blazer Manual Tranny issues
alright so here is my situation.... i have a 94 chevy s10 blazer 4x4 5spd... when the vehicle is running and you are sitting at a stop you cannot shift it into any gear... when the vehicle is off and just sitting you can put it into any gear that you want... when you are moving in the vehicle while it is running you can shift from gear to gear just fine... this really stumps and confuses me... the clutch fluid was low so we added some... seems like the clutch engages fine when the suv is moving or when its just sitting not running... any clue as to what it can be? oh yes and now there is no reverse... wont go into reverse at all... my guess is the transmission but when it is running it does not grind when going into gear... i mean if you FORCE it into gear at a stop it will go but you really have to force it. any clues please let me know! i'm thinkin new transmission but idk yet
I would hazard a guess that you wouldn't need an entirely new trans. The manual tranny's can be serviced much easier than the auto's. Might just need a clutch adjusment/replacement or a syncronizer may be outta wack.
