Third pump was the winner. We bought a $100 pump instead of a $60 one. Started right up.. So 2 1/2 weeks later we ended where we started. Why do they sell such pumps if they don't work? What a headahce this has beeen and we werecorrect with the problemat the very beginningjust got crappy pumps.. lesson learned to check your fuel pressure...

sounds like you bought a pump for a Z coded engine thats all the pump probably works fine just not the right one

 

No, more than likely they bought 2 Airtex pumps first - they're garbage.
