2.8 troubles
Hi everyone, I'm working on my uncles 87 s10 blazer with a 2.8, Me and my brother are working on it cause he has had a couple heart surgeries, and can't really use his left arm. anyway the problem its having is, it will start up, but if you don't keep feathering the throttle the motor dies, we've put a new fuel pump in, replaced the fuel filter, installed a new throttle body, and still nothing, we tested the throttle positioning sensor and its in working order. I just don't know what to do anymore, please help, Thanks

We are know thinking it might be the fuel line, what kind of fuel pressure should it be running?

13 ish psi on the return line of the tbi.
Is the pump turning on a running for a few seconds after you turn the key on but before you crank it.
Tomorrow ill look in my service manual and see what the pressure is for the feed line and the suggested protocalls.

10-13 psi. If you didnt buy a ac delco or delphi pump, you may have problems as blazers are VERY picky on pumps.
