I got a visonik v217sx
Each time the bass thumps and/or i turn the music up the amp goes into protection mode and then cuts out (no power or protection led )
but when i goes out use my volt meter im getting no signal from the remote wire and my power wire
well its not the amp i had a old amp laying around and it was doing the same thing
any suggestion
bad ground
bad remote
should run the remote to fuse box

but i just starting happing after replace the radio(Pioneer to a
Panasonic) do you think i just hooked up the wrong remote wire
it was working fine with the pioneer[/align]

try this, take a small piece of wire, strip off both ends, put one end into the remote, and the other with the 12v battery line. then if it cuts out, you either have a bad ground, the impedance from the subs is too low for the amp to handle, or the amp is bad.
if it plays fine, pull out the deck and check voltage on the remote. worse case scenario, run to the fuse panel .
