4x4 Floor shift lights problem
Hey guys, would like to get this problem sorted before winter hits.
I'm having a problem where the lights on my 4x4 floor shift are always on 4lo.
Even when I'm in 2wd.
It shifts into all 4x4 mods and back into 2wd just fine, it's just that the lights do not change.
4lo always on.
The front axle light does go on and off properly however.
What can I start with to trouble shoot this?

why worry about it. i had the exact same problem with my '92 Jimmy, and gave up after ripping apart the truck, trying to trace a possible short. like you said, it never caused any issues with the engaugement/disengaugement of the 4WD system.
