85 2.8L Blazer Not Starting
Hello All,
Assuming my username explains one problem, I'll get right to the other.
The Blazer she left in my yard isn't getting spark.
Both the rotor and distributor cap looked awful so I replaced them.
My OHM Meter fuse is bad but I was able to read 12V across the Ignition Coil (Secondary terminal~coil wire-->Distributor) with key in *ON position and then upon startup voltage falls to 00.0V.
My question is this: Does the 12V across the Coil mean the coil is ok?
If so, where in this heap should I look next? ECM? Distributor?
More importantly, what does the nil voltage reading mean?
Aside from fixing my OHM meter, any neat ways to track this problem down would be helpful.
Thanks,
Sam
