Default 87 starting issues

Ok. I installed a new fuel pump on 87 Blazer and since doing so, I now have hard start issues. I now have to turn it over 4-5 times before it will eventually start. This happens hot or cold. It almost seems as though the fuel line is losing pressure allowing the fuel to drain back into the tank. Is this possible? I don't know where to start.....should I replace the entire fuel line?????? Thank you in advance for any suggestions.

check your fuel pressure regulator. if that's not working correctly the fuel can run back to the tank when you shut the vehicle off.

The fuel pump has a check valve in it. if it goes bad the pressure will leak down completely. only fix is replace the pump.
