87 wiring question
got an 87 jimmy, parking lights were staying on after truck was off and key out, new headlight switch didn't fix but noticed brown wire running from switch was in bad shape, in the process of taking dash apart to try and replace harness but was wondering if I can just run a new brown wire from the switch to where ever it goes? I don't know where it goes but was hoping anyone here could give me more info on the best way to fix this. Thanks for any replies.
