89 s10 blazer fuel problems
So last night I went to start my truck and it ran for about 1 sec. I found that the fuse for the fuel pump was blown. I replaced the whole inline fuse section. I still keep blowing the fuses. It runs if I dump gas in but only until that gas is gone. I can not get fuel to pump out. I disconnected the fuel line before the fuel filter and put a new fuse in. Turned the key and the no fuel. Couple seconds later the fuse blows. NEED HELP PLEASE.
Try unplugging the pump and replacing the fuse. If the fuse still blows, you have a short somewhere in the wiring leading to the pump. If the fuse stays good while the pump is unplugged you most likely have an internal short in the pump, and it will have to be replaced.
