Default 92 4.3 H.O runability problem (please help)

Hey, so it all started with the power steering pump going out let it sit for about two weeks because it was thanksgiving, replaced the pump everything went fine, it was a little hard to start, went to the store about 3 (1.5 miles one way) miles away put about 3 gallons of gas in it it started right up leaving the station, as I was pulling into my driveway the car died as if someone turned the key off, went to restart it and it would turn over but it would onyl idle for about two minutes and it died and hasnt ran since.

Thinking something electrical I replaced the Ignition control module, plugs wires cap and rotor (the only thing not replaced was coil and distributor).

I have checked the fuel and fuel pump making sure there wasnt any build up in the lines or fuel filter was clean, in the process of doing all of this we would periodically pull the plugs and everytime they would come out fouled so we yould clean them try to start it again it would sputter then nothing atall again pulled the plugs and theyre fouled,

So basically i have tried everything i can think of and i have had an ASE mechanic here to help and he cant seem to figure (granted my blazer is 10 years older than most cars they work on in his shop) so if anyone can help even throw ideas helps the only thing i can think of is a sensor because of the abrupt death of the car ha

again anything helps

Thank you,

Ryan.

Did it ever get too hot? Do you have good fuel pressure and good spark? Could be the coil or the plug in that the distibuter sits on ( not sure what its called) simillar problem on my brothers 4.3 cpi

The fuel filter is good and the fuel pressure is good. The thing is, I have good spark and clean fuel. When we clean up the plugs(no residue but unburned gas on plugs). It wants to fire up and will barely run for a 15 seconds and the smell is like its running to rich(fat).
I've been over this truck 3x(Gas & spark). I will do it again at this point and any ideas are encouraged. Starting new job soon and badly need to get this thing running w/o having to go to a garage.......If I can help it. Thanks

What are you thinking gio , the fuel pressure regulator . Sounds like it may be leaking . If you have cpi , I have every part you could need , and If you do need something get in touch with me I don't need any of that stuff anymore .
