Default 92 blazer brake bleeding (depressor tool)

Take a look at this nifty little tool.
J-35856 combination valve depressor tool



yup, this thing is a modern marvel. For only 27 bucks you too can have one. WTF - is this crapola. All I want to do is bleed my freaking brakes and someone at GM decided to even make this simple task into a total rim-job. The manual says I need 3 of these to bleed my brakes properly.

So, what I want to know is there something in my toolbox that will do this job, maybe you have encountered this and got creative - I want to hear from you.

How do you even use those things. I've bled brakes on every make model you can dream of and never had to use any tools like that. Just pump up the brake pedal. Hold it then have the other person open the bleeder

They're for the ABS unit. I got 2 of them a year or two back, total was under $10 shipped. Someone one here had posted a link to them.

I figured out these 2 valves but I can't seem to find the third one they are talking about. I assume these are the left and right bleed stems, where's the one for the rear?



Here's a diagram for the rear bleeder:
This looks like a totally different tool to depress the stem.

There was 3/4" uni-strut laying around the backyard, so with some hacking and slashing with the cut-off grinder it made a nice stem depressor. Opening the valves made a difference in pedal pressure during bleeding, so it was doing something. Also got some air out of the ABS unit. All is working as should be.

I left the combination valve alone, didn't feel like making a tool to depress that one.

The tool is to get the air out of the high pressure accumulators on the ABS. And to bleed through the system you neeed one on the combination valve. I only paid about $7.00 each for mine but have seen them as high as $35.00 each.Do some searching before you buy. I got mine from some internet performance store. I'll post again if I can find the receipt.
