92 blazer CPI miss/rough during hill climb
On a trip this weekend I noticed during a hill climb there was a point, about 3/4 up the hill, where the engine would start to cut-out and lose power. On the first leg of the trip I had over 3/4 of a tank and on the way back had over 1/2 tank. The truck lost power in both directions, coming and going, about the same spot on the hill. Once the truck gets to the top, level road, the problem goes away. Since this is a CPI truck and I have reworked the whole fuel system, new pump also, I am at a lose here.

I think the cat is working, did fine on the emissions test about 4 months ago. Being plugged I have no idea, how would one check to see if it is plugged?

well when you shut the truck off do it smell like your muffler is burning if so look under and see if your cat converter is red . if so its clogged and ur engine cant breath from the exhuast
