'92 Blazer Gear (Dash) Cluster
The gear cluster is off on my Blazer (i.e. when in park the selector is way past the P) and I'm wondering what I adjust to get the selector to line up again
Thanks!
Thanks!

There's a little metal tab connected to a piece of wire cable, it's attached to the plastic piece connected to the shifter collar. move it around the collar, it should line up eventually. It'll go out of adjustment very quickly, though. I just go by the old tried-and-true "count the clicks" method.

I've had times when the selector will clunk into park and the truck is actually in a small neutral band between park and reverse. Parking brake (adjusted correctly) FTW.

Thats exactly what happens to me. In order to get it into park I have to go way to the left of the P which is quite difficult

Ever smash the hell out of your knuckles on the dash trying to get it into park? I did that a couple times. Not the first blood my truck's gotten, but certainly the most annoying.

Yeah I have to push up on the shifter fairly hard to get it to sit in park usually...but the only blood thats actually on my truck is on one of the interior panel clips...they are rather sharp
