Default 92 Chevy blazer S-10 Tahoe with 4.3 engine wont start :(

Thus far we have replaced: Distributor, Distributor cap, Rotor Button, Spark plugs and wires, and ignition coil. It does have spark and fuel is flowing properly. Any help will be apprecated. I have no clue where to go next.

Thanks

I would suspect timing. Either the distributer is in wrong or the timing chain could have jumped. I would bring the #1 piston to TDC, verify that the rotor is pointing to the #1 plug location on the distributer cap, and you could remove the valve cover to make sure that the Intake and Exhaust valves are closed for the #1 piston at TDC. I would double/tripple check the spark plug wires for the correct firing order. If all this is ok I would pour a little gas directly into the TBI and see if it starts. You can even do this first.

I would plug a fuel pressure gauge on the test port and verify fuel pressure. On your TBI its low pressure like 10-12psi I think. Just because you can see it flowing doesnt mean that there is enough pressure. Can you see the injectors firing in the throttle body, it will look kinda like heat does on a hot day coming off the ground if they are spraying?

I like to pull number 1 plug out and use a 90 degree pick to feel that the valves are closed as opposed to pulling a valve cover.

I dont know about a timing chain skipping, I have never seen that happen myself, but I guess it does happen.

You will need to get the proper fitting to add the test port. TBI engines did not come with a pre-plumbed test port like the newer engines did. But I agree, test the fuel pressure.

Default It Is FIXED!!!!

It was the timing thanks to everyone for your help. It was rather frustrating. We do know that the Distributor needed replaced as well as the Distributor cap (the button inside the cap was burnt ) When we replaced the distributor it is put in the wrong way but it is all good now . Glad to have an up and running blazer once more. Life is back to normal hehe.
