The latest weirdness from my aging truck: I come back in the morning, every few days, and find that the clock is anywhere from 10 to 25 minutes behind. This is the radio with the built-in cassette deck; it's been replaced a couple times but always with the same model. It doesn't do it every night, but it's problematic because I look at it and think I've got more time to get to work than I really do.
Anyone see this before? Is it a problem with the radio itself, or is there some problem with the power source? (radio has two power inputs, one switched for the radio and one unswitched for the clock). Any suggestions?

i would think too that the straight 12volt would also save your stations too are you radio stations saving?

When I bought my 84 the clock didn't work at all and the radio didn't pick up a single station in short it was just completely fried so, I just replaced it with a cd player.

(If it lost power completely, it would have gone back to 1:00, not just ran ten minutes slow... that's what I didn't understand.)
In any case it hasn't been doing it lately, so I won't worry too much about it unless it starts losing time again.
Thanks all for the responses.
