My Existing Heads have Screw in Rocker arm Studs, The Replacement heads I have has Pressed in Rocker arm studs with the Rocker arms and Pushrods. Both from a 93 S-10 Blazer 4.3L 4x4.
Will The replacement heads work? I was told by One mechanic yes they would and by another that an issue is in the studs screwed in ones have shims in them and makes it hard to adjust valves.
would someone who knows please give me accurate info, I have never gotten bad info on here

You can use either heads man. You should be able to adjust both styles as needed. Its just the stud thats pressed in, or threaded in. The adjustment should be the same. It could be that the rebuilders thread em for ease of reinstallation. My stock-ers are pressed in.

Thanks, I have had so many isues with the 4.3L Vortec engine its ridiculous,
its a 93 Chevy S-10 Blazer 4.3 Vortec engine (262CI) spider injectors (CFI).
Originally it was using excessive fuel, then came the knock in engine.
Changed engine ( Junkyard), Changed Injector ( JunkYard), Changed FPR (NEW Napa), Changed The Nut Kit ( New Napa), would not idle right too many little issues to tell over its spread throughout the forums. Then came a bit of white but not with accumulating moisyure from exhaust if left idling, took plenum off turned engine over and air was sucked/pushed into water resevoir ( indicated a leak of air into water and water into cylinder) Heads had tiny cracks, the Cylinders Look to be crack free so Now I have purchased 2 Heads (junk yard), all New Gaskets and new head bolts including new lower intake gaskets. I hope when this is installed by the garage its runs OK. Based on symptoms do you see any other things that would need checked/replaced, also put new gasket and cleaned EGR valve which worked fine anyway.
