Default VIN inquiry for factory options

Should I call a dealer to have them look up my VIN to tell me what options came from the factory or does anyone have the number to call for this?

Is there any other way of finding out factory options through VIN?

Thanks

best way is to hit the dealership and have them run it. They will give you a print out with all the options and list all the recalls it has been threw. This will give you your best list. It will even give you the orginal dealership it came from and the factory it was made at.

Or look at the RPO label on the glove box door and then run a search here to find information on how to decode the list. Just as easy and that's what the dealership will get for you with the VIN.

Definitely use the RPO codes in the glove box. Then you can go to any number of websites and see what they mean. Here's one that always works for me.
