93 blazer help please!! gets warm and starts surging
I have a 93 Blazer with the vortec and when it gets warmed up not setting a code it starts suging and eventually dies starts back up surges dies but when engine cold it runs fine it takes about 20 min for the issue to start. The egr is clean already checked that. I can hear the fuel pump wine but I have eliminated that fuel filter is clean. It wont set and engine code with the issue. Sometimes while moving and hitting the gas to the floor it dont even sound like the engine is running and no power then it kicks in ad takes off then surges again. Any ideas where to look I am left clueless Thank you.

id start by trying to move around the red and blue wires that run into intake on drivers side, mine had similar symptoms and that was problem. it was the injector clip having a poor connection. its a 9 dollar part at the parts stores

Sounds like a injector issue of some sort. I would just inspect and clean the fuel rail.

x2 on the red/blue wires. Get her running, then look down behind your idler pulley for the 2 wires that are going into the intake. Woggle em around and I bet you stall it out... You open the intake up, and cut those wires and solder on the new connector. Take a look in it, there is 2 tiny little hair like wires, they are not making good contact with the injector.

very tru and if spider has been changed but not by you make sure they put the rubber grommet is on connector. person i bought my truck from changed spider but never made sure grommet got swapped over and it wrecked havoc.

i wiggled those wires they are ok but i did find that the map sensor wire connector is broke and if i wiggle it i can get it to stutter out and eventually die and can recreate the problem with that hopefully that connecter replacement will work if not i will continue onto the injectors thanks for all the great help
