Default '93 S10 4x4 Starter bogs down

On intial start up, 4.3 vortec port injection, (W) this little jewel starts before the first revolution and runs perfect. No hesitation on power and no miss at all, high or low rpm. The problem is I drive it for just 5 miles, turn it off, and when I go to start it, has a really really hard time turning the engine over. Acting like its way out of time or something. Just put a new starter in today, and same thing. I was told it may be the crank positon sensor but I don't even know where that is....any ideas?? any help would be greatly appreciated.....Thanks.....

Not really sure what to tell you based on what you typed can you please clarify? Does the starter crank over the engine strong and the engine has a hard time firing off. Or is it the starter that has a hard time cranking over the engine?

Check engine light on?
