i have 93 s10 blazer that has power going to the switch in the dash. its electronic. but it will not light up when i hit it to engage into 4 wheel. nothing happens and no noises are heard. the switch seems to be working fine because electricity is flowing through and you can get the lights to work if you just check the switch with power. wondering what it could be. it use to work a week ago but it just stopped.
any ideas. it would be helpful thanks

 

been having the same kind of problem with my 93 jimmy. found a link in here that really helped me out. it seems that the common problem is with the vacuum accuater (located under the battery tray) or its lines. if you do a search on the front axles not engaging there is a lot of help here. good luck
