Could be the pulsator on the sending unit in the tank. They go bad after awhile. Most people take them out and just insert a piece of 2 inch fuel line in its place.

I was just having the same problem on my 94 Jimmy. It would start with starting fluid but die once that ran out. I ended up replacing the whole sending unit and pump assembly. runs great now.

OK I now have pressure on system after I turn key off but it still won't start. I am wondering if I could have gotten a bad spider from autozone. Is there away to test the spider out put to the injector's?

OK I fixed it I changed back to my old spider and it started up and is running good now and all it was was the fuel pump. So this is what I learned on this don't assume anything Test Test Test and then use your head and do more test's, and be creative with your test's. I learned alot working on this problem and hopefully I won't have to repeat it. LOL Thanks to everyone that has given me suggestions on what it could be.
