Default 93 S10 Blazer...Problem and Have No Idea what it could be?!

My Blazer does fine driving around town like at speeds from 25-55 mph but I have noticed that after I have driven on the highway like at 65-75 mph when I get off and come to a stop like at a red light smoke comes out from under the passenger's side of the hood. Recently I was able to smell it and to me it smells like oil not like steam or coolant. I looked under the hood after getting home but have not noticed any noticeable signs of anything leaking. So I am at a loss for what this is or if it's harmful. It is kind of embarrassing as people are looking at me like is my car on fire or did I crack the radiator.....HELP PLEASE! Any ideas?

If it smells like oil i would check to see if you are leaking oil on your exhaust manifold. Hence the smoke of it burning and you not seeing anything noticeable.

I mean when the engine gets hot enough it may start to burn off any oils on there and you just don't notice it until you come to a stop because it's not being blown away.

Unless your transmission is EXTREMELY overfilled the only fluid in that area should be the valve covers. I'd look for any leaks.

If all else fails you could get a UV dye leak kit and put some in your oil and transmission ( one at a time ) and see if you can track something down in that sense.

My bet would be valve covers / gasket
