when i had the plenum off there were no clean spots around the injectors or anything. its really becoming more trouble than its worth lol. the spider injector wasn't leaking, the fuel pressure regulator is new, it runs fine at idle and the only time it acts up is when your giving it full throttle, it just seems to hold steady at about 3000 rpm and starts popping and spitting. is it a possibility that the fuel pump is just wore out? i'm not sure if that would cause it to bleed down or not. or is it a possibility that the spider is somehow bleeding down internally and letting fuel pass through the return line? i'm not too familiar with these engines and i just want to be sure before i cough up 230 bucks ona new injector unit. i might head to the junkyard tomorrowto pick up a couple of them to see if that might fix the problem. if so then i might spend the extra cash to get a new one.
