Default 94 jimmy tbi problems? can anyone help?

hey everyone, i have a 94 jimmy 4x4 tbi. i replaced the fuel pump with one from a blazer. it started fine and drove fine. now when im driving i cant push the gas in all the way or it starts stuttering and when the temp reaches warm levels it is really hard to get up to speed at all. and when starting it up, it takes about 4 to 5 tries. i checked the engine codes and had one for electronic spark control module, and idle air control failure. i just took the idle air control valve back to autozone and got a different one but the code still reads. and i heard that if the idle air control is failing it could cause the spark error. when i changed the fuel pump i had to cut the fittings off the end on the truck side because the other pump didnt have them, is it possible that the fuel lines arent open enough to pump when the accelerator is all the way down? the same trucks at the junk yard are missing alot of the parts i needed so im pretty sure this must be common. any help would be apprieciated.

Are you sure it is a '94 with a TBI motor? What is your fuel pressure running at?

If you have TBI you don't have a spider. If you have a spider, you don't have TBI.

Which do you have?

i just figured that out today lol, but i messed with the fuel pressure regulator some more today and the truck is running great, it still takes a lil to start and i think the one i replaced it with came off a v8 trans am so i think im getting a lil more fuel than i should be but it will hold til i can buy a new one, and its kinda dieseling a little more than it used to but its good now.
