Exclamation 94 S-10 Blazer Dipstick Help!

My 94 S-10 Blazer, 4.3 Vin W non-CTF, had a rusted dipstick tube, which eventually created a hole behind the exhaust manifold. I was able to remove the tube by pulling and twisting at the same time. My question is, do you have to remove the passenger exhaust manifold to press in the new tube? It seems like the new tube does not have enough room to get the correct angle to press into the block with it in place. The new tube is the correct GM part for the old tube. The old tube was easy to remove due to it being flexible from all of the rust lol. I shouldn't have to ream the hole, I cleaned the opening, and the hole is rust free and smooth. Any tips? I can get the first quarter of an inch into the hole, but then it seems to bind on the exhaust manifold and not allow me to get the correct angle. Thanks for your help in advance!

Try making the new tube real cold in your freezer so it gets a tad smaller and see if its gonna go in.

you may have to heat it up red hot with a propane torch and bend it a little to make a perfect fit. then test fit. sand and paint it. since it burned the paint off.
