Default 94 S10 Blazer body to frame mount rusted

Hi guys,

2 of the body to frame mounts on the car has rusted through the floor board. The rusted ones are on each side of the car towards the rear passenger row area.

It looks to me there are total of 8 and 6 of them are still in decent conditions. If I do not waste the money to repair it, is it alright to drive it like that. It is mostly used for local driving. Thanks!

Barry

You should be fine driving it, most people probably wouldnt even notice something like that as you did. Aside from the noise related to these not being firm contact points, NO, your cab is not going to go flying off the frame if you hit the brakes too hard. You have made me go out and inspect mine now.

Thanks a bunch guys for your quick replies.

i'm a worry ***** hehe. We just spent close to 500 for the spider/fuel kit, lower intake manifold gasket replacement and 170 for the replacement of the exhaust from the back of the cat. glad that this rust problem will not prevent her from going and going.
