I have a digital cluster in my 91 blazer. I personally would have preferred the analog as i am a tad bit paranoid of the thing going out on me. But as for swapping over to the digital from analog... not too sure about what all is required.

I'm not to sure if you can switch to digital from analog in the first place. The number con about switching is the digital displays are known for crapping out. So unless you start with a re-built one that you know wont die on you, its risky. Currently my digital is shot, all I have is my speedo and thats it. I havent taken it out yet to send it out or try a junkyard replacement.

its not hard to swap. just get a rebuilt one with the better leds and parts. all you have to do is get a wireing harnes for the digital dash and a wireing diagram. only one wire is missing and its the white one for the rpm gauge and its under the passenger side dash somwhere there is a wireing harnes and before the harness is the white wire and after the harness there is no white wire it just stops and that is your rpm gauge wire. just do some googling. type in s10 blazer analog dash to digital and theres a tutorial on how to swap them out.
