Default another thread about torsion bars

I purchased a '88 4x4 blazer dirt cheap, 4wd does not work.
I am trying to lower the front and I've ran into a bit of a dilemma,
I cranked on the adjuster bolts on the torsion bars and I can't tell a difference, I can tell that I cranked on the bolts but I can't tell a difference in the height of the vehicle. My question is how long are these bolts?

You should be able to see the bolts coming out the other side of the mount, and contacting the torsion bar key. They are pretty long, but I don't know how much you can lower the car with them. I used mine in the opposite direction....
