I have a 94 Bravada and I have black intake tubes. I have seen many other same year trucks and they have unpainted raw aluminum tubes. Is there a reason for the painted black tubes? It's not a big deal, I am just wondering why. New Camera 636.jpg

It doesn't make any sense.

 

It just looks like to me maby someone painted it at one time because they thought it would look cool or something. But I'm not an expert at that stuff lol.

 

It's stock. I have seen a few trucks like this. The raw aluminum tubes have a rough finish on the tubes whereas mine are smooth, Almost polished.

 

I think they started that in '94... Not clue why though. Any one?

 

I saw a guy with a 94 Bravada same color as mine, same year and whatnot, but his intake wasn't black? Weird!
