blazer sometimes die when coming to a stop
I need some help figuring out wat is going on with my 1993 chevy blazer 4x4 vortec .this truck runs great! but it some times stumbles on the freway and dies once in awhile wheni come to a stop! Is it the torque converter or what is going on can anyone please give me some advice.thank you all hope to here from some one soon winter is coming an need 4 wheel drive .
First thing I would check is your EGR valve...if it's leaking a bit that would explain the stumble at idle. Has it thrown any codes? If it has that would give you a good place to start.
it might be the torque convertor selonoid, depends if it seems like its getting stuck in a high gear and then stalling when you slow down.....but there should be a relay to the tranny and you could unplug it and see if it stops stalling, if it does its the selonoid
