Exclamation BloWer Motor Quits..

Leading up to the blower completely going out, it made all sorts of obnoxious belt and screaching sounds, I was wondering If i could just replace the belt in the motor (if thats the cause) or should I just replace the whole motor itself?

What are you driving? Once you post that information, I will move your post to the appropriate tech section and we can look deeper into your problem.

Default New here, need some opinons

Hi, my buddy directed me here for assistance when working on my blazer. I have a 91 4x4 i which adore! When turning on the fan system for heat, an obnoxious screecing, grinding noise came from the blower. My question is can the belt on the blower motor just be replaced or is it advised to purchase a whole new motor?

There is no belt on the blower motor so that answers that question? If its bad you must replace the motor and the fan attaches directly to the motor.Lucky for you its pretty easy to do on that truck.

There isn't a belt on the blower motor. It is direct drive.

BTW, you can bump your other post... No need to violate the rules of the forum. Also, you may want to consider the standard font. Much easier to read. Most people will just move on if it is difficult to read...
