Hello, I own a 1994 Chevy Blazer that had not been driven for over a year until recently ( 2 month ago) when I had it fixed. I needed new Distributor, new Radiator, new Fuel Injector and a engine rebuilt. The car was driving fine and I have no engine problems, but now something is wrong with my brakes. I drove it the other day and while pushing the pedal to come to a stop the resistance from the pedal was gone all of a sudden and the pedal went all the way down. I had to pump the pedal a few times to get it to stop again. Yesterday the same thing happened but now pumping the pedal das not work anymore . it just goes straight down to the floor. I know my pads are fine since they got replaced right before the car broke down originally. If anyone can help me figure this out I would greatly apreciate it.

 

Is your master cylinder full? Did you inspect the brake lines for leaks?

Be sure to check around the calipers and drums as well for signs of fluid.

 

Master Cylinder failing, Leaks, broke brake line. You might want to pull the rear brake drums to check the wheel cylinders. Could be leaking inside of the brake drum.
