Default Brakes...?

I recently change my front brake pads. After complete the job, I have encountered an issue. Braking is great but when I let off of the brake pedal, I hear a ratteling noise from the front drivers side brake. It sounds almost like the pads are vibrating inside the caliper. I took the wheel back off and loosened the caliper and re-tightened it and I am still getting the vibration noise. My question is, could it be the pads vibrating? And, if it is, if I bleed the brakes will it help or is the caliper probably bad? Any help will be greatly appreciated.

I think the vibrating you are feeling could be 2 things. The old rotors have that rusty edge on them that could be interfering with the new pad... Or did you put new rotors on too? Also did you lube and clean the sliders for the calipers? Did you see if the old calipers pistons can be pushed back into the caliper easily? That is how you see if the caliper is still good. Did you clean up the grease and junk off the parts before you went and used it again?

Did you stake the outboard pad to the caliper (bending the ears of the pad over the caliper)?

I wasn't aware of doing that.....but I did find that the entire caliper was moving and creating the sound. I had it tight but I removed it and cleaned it up and now it's not making the noise any more. Thanks alot for your suggestion Leeann and I am going to stake the pad tomorrow.
