A/C Compressor clutch

Default A/C Compressor clutch

I have a 93 can the ac compressor clutch be replaced w/o replacing the compressor? thanks

I know you can on the newer ones because I have done it, but I am not sure on the older ones. I seem to remember there being some special tooling required on the older ones.

they're all the same (1st & 2nd gen).

you need that special tool to pull it off, but i never had to remove the pump from the truck (like the guy did on his Jag). i just used a ratchet instead of an impact gun.

i also don't remember needing to remove a clip inside either.
