Default A/C Problem... Help Please...

Can you use the r134a freon in a 91' S10 Blazer... I bought a can at advance auto and the install hose on the can will not hook to the low side port... Or do you have to have it professionally gassed up...?? Thank you all for helping me thru the new motor install....

No it does not have the r134a fittings on it. I thought there might be another hose i could buy to gas it up... But you can have them changed over to the new type?? I have never had to have that done before.. Whats has to be done to change it over?? can i do it myself??

I did get a hose with the can i bought but it did not fit. I have never worked with the old style before. Do i have to change out the compresser and lines to change it over to the new r134a?? It is definitely is the old style... Can they still be gassed up???
