There is a crack at the top of the tank on the rad

Well I ordered a new rad today. Hopefully get it in tomorrow and see how it is then. Also getting a thermostat and another sensor at well. Then if there's time do a few other mods as well

Got the new rad in. But the light and temp gauge is still fluttering. Could someone tell me what regular running temp should be

S-series have a 195F t-stat. Normal temp on factory gauge is 190 to 210 since the gauge aint worth a crap.


Next time start ya own thread and don't hijack somebody elses

Okay cause mine is running 120 Celsius and the gauge only goes too 125 Celsius


And I did start this thread.

120C is way too hot. Are you losing coolant?

There was another post there last night. 120C (248F) is way too hot. Did you ever change the fan clutch? I think that and the cracked rad was your only 2 problems from the start.

Okay dose anyone know if a fan catch off a 99 fit a 91 or is there too much of a diff

Completely different. 99 takes a hayden part number 2626 (also has a plastic fan if I recall). 91 uses hayden part number 2727 (and has steel fan). They might swap but personally I wouldn't hit a junkyard up for a part like that when new is so cheap.



They only $30-40 on rock auto (what is that 60-80 canuck? Lol)
