Coolant sending unit?
Hi guys,
since yesterday my Tempgauge ( digital ) shows me an almost warm engine
instantly after a cold start in the morning, even when the ignition is on, but engine not turning. Could this be a faulty coolant sending unit?
And where is the unit located ? I read something it should be on the driverside on the head beside the knocksensor , is this right??
It´s a 1992 4,3 4x4 Blazer.
Thanks for help

Passenger side head, a little higher than the spark plugs. Looks like it fits about a 7/8 wrench and only has one wire plugged onto it. May just have the wire fallen off, if you ground that wire I think it maxxes the gauge.

Its the gold things Im pointing at, and use teflon tape to install the new one.
