coolant temp gauge goes to zero, then check gauges light

Default coolant temp gauge goes to zero, then check gauges light

My 93 4x4 check gauges light comes on then the temp gauge goes to zero, light goes off, gauge comes uo to the proper temp, out of nowhere, it does it again...any help?

Sounds like you have a bad connection to the cluster temp sending unit. It should be the one in the driver side cylinder head.

cluster temp sending unit? I must be overlooking it. I know about the one in the block, passenger side,
