I noticed my Crankcase air filter was broke, I bought another

which their site says it fits my vehicle.
anyways I went to install it and the side that connects to the air filter doesn't stay in. Is there suppose to be a clip or something that holds it on?

Yeah there is a clip that goes on the inside and snaps over it. Heres a couple pics. Hope this helps.

Thanks for the help, do you know if there is a specific name or where I could get one?

I just searched autozone online and it is called a breather element clip. They have an assortment pack for 6.99.

Yeah, it just had me totally confused because the auto part stores where I live have morrons working at them and I called up all 3 and none of them even knew what a crankcase air filter even was.

Lol. Yeah most of them are like that. The autozone I go to is pretty knowledgable though.
