hey guys i recently purchased a 91 s10 blazer for spl reasons......well its got a problem that i have been trying to hunt down for weeks now and its driving me crazy...........the dash light wont illuminate un less the door is open and the diver control is set all they way over to where th interior lights should come on.....does anybody have a clue as to where this short is....r does anybody have a electrical diagram of the lighting they could e-mail to me thanks

 

I don't have your wiring diagram but I would suspect the dash dimmer switch might be the problem

 

thanks man i have already tried another dimmer switch and nochange....maybe somebody has a wiring diagram for my truck...i have the haynes manual and it does really break it down like i need it

 

chilton has a manuel that brakes down every last wire in the truck. chapter 6 is almost half the book.

 

does anybody have a wiring layout for my truck helpguys this things is bout to drive me crazy
