Ya no worries. I think most the info is in that thread. I had to do it a few times and took me about 20 mins to remove the cluster after the first go round. Just so you know the HVAC won't easily come out, and you don't need to fully remove it. You can access the nuts through there fine. Also when it comes time to re-install the nuts that retain the cluster, the nuts will want to come out of the socket. I just used a little tape around them to hold them in there to get them started. You don't want to have them fall down in the dash. It's a pretty straight forward job as long as you have some common knowledge.

 

Actually I tried the search feature and only came up with info on digital dash or early K5 blazers... I am a member of CamaroZ28.com (I own a 2001 SS) and honestly there was more information there.

 

Um why, the voltages aint the same but the basic theory is. I started in DC before I swapped over to AC.

I am studying to be an electircal engineer and did the LED Dash mod pretty much by myself, I used my general circuits techniques (really you only need to know the difference between series and parallel wiring). I have a 98 but here is some info I typed up about it while going through the process. Good luck, they shouldnt have been LEDs he sold you, but they are probably really small incandscent bulbs (like a 194 bulb or something like that).
