Default Dead Miss at Cold Start

When I do a cold start in the morning to go to work/school it feels like I have a dead miss. I don't sit there and idle too long; but it deffinately runs rough. The lurching goes away after about 5 seconds of some moderate throttle though.

Feels like a dead miss to me..
I've done plugs, rotor, cap, and wires. No unusual conditions in any beforehand.

I replaced dist cap and rotor on my 93, runs much better but misses when cold for about ten or fifteen seconds. Ive been told coolant is getting in #6 cyl overnight. Like I say, runs great after started for a little while., Head gasket I hope...

I'm going to borrow the block test kit at work tomorrow and see if I have any combustion gasses in the coolant. fingers crossed; I dont.

a mechanic put a camera in no 6 cyl overnight and saw some coolant. I guess you could pull the plug and find that out.

intake gaskets can do that too which is a very common problem for these 4.3's my truck has bad valve guides being the engine is 24 years old so i get the little puff of smoke in the morning. if i dont drive that truck for about 2-3 days it will idle rough for a few seconds til it burns all that crap

I replaced the valve stem seals in my 93' a few years ago. It wasn't that bad.
