Digital Dash Blank
The digital dash of my Jimmy is shot. All I have is the Speedo, Odometer and Gear selection, everything in that middle section. The outside guages dont come on. When I start it the warning lights on the lower left side come on and then go off like all cars when first starting. So how can I fix this or should I just buy some Autometer gauges and just hook up my own Temp, Battery, Oil pressure gauges, etc? What concerns me the most is the lack of Fuel gauge, I'm always putting gas in, just to be safe. I know if I go to a Junk yard its hit and miss and the Mileage wont be correct. Any ideas/suggestions please?

Just give this guy a call. He's not open weekends though. Name is Carl. Easiest guy you'll ever do business with. Hooked me up right. Just tell him how many miles are on yours. His company's name is Digital Dash Solutions and I highly recommend him. Check his website out a little. Don't fill out any paperwork until you talk to him first.

You have the exact opposite of mine. I use the GPS as the speedo. Im going to call this guy too once I get moved and such, Ive been meaning to do it for a while. Sweet that they can set your milage too! I dont know about you but the boneyards by me always have the digital dashes gone when Ive looked for one.
I didn't say he can set the mi;eage. What you do is give him yours and he sends you one with mileage that's pretty close. They don't even ask what your mileage is anymore in Texas when you sell the car (at least my title says N/A) but you can correct it by putting a sticker on the driver's door with the actual mileage when you changed the speedometer/ Check your local laws. It hasn't been a big deal here but we're talking vehicles with about 200,000 miles on them too.
If you look ay the link I sent it's got his price posted. $125.00 exchange. He does a whole lot ,ore than just these. The main problem with these digital dashes is cold solder joints and the power supply. He checks and fixes the joints and updates the power supply with some mods he came up with. Mine is stilll working great after about a year. No complaints.
