Several months ago, the oddometer on my 2005 2 door 4x4 Jimmy (Blazer clone) went blank. All other instruments and electricals work fine. My owners manual indicates that the odometer reading can be displayed when the key is off simply by pressing the trip button. I have tried this a number of times, and usually nothing happens; however on two occasions when I pressed the trip button, the fuel gauge and the water temperature gauge both reacted unexpectedly.I am planning to pull the instrument cluster in a few days.Am I on the right track, or should I be looking at something else?
