Default door handle help

i have a 90 s-10 blazer 2-door. The other day I tried opening it after it snowed and was frozen shut. Now, it won't open from the outside. I took the panel off to see if something is disconnected, but it doesn't feel like it. Do I need to replace the handle or am I just missing something?

Can you see the jaws on the jam-side of the door moving when you use either of the door opener handles? Maybe they just need a major lubing? I would check the linkages inside the door, there is a vertical bar that connects the outer handle to the jaw mechanism that holds the door shut.
