easy to replace abs module on 93 s10 blazer?
If I have understood correctly from searching through posts... on the 1st gen s10 Blazers, you don't have to get the computer reprogrammed when you replace the abs module... is that correct?
Is it easy to replace the abs unit (under the hood)?

It's not terribly hard. I got a used module from a junkyard, carefully keeping it full of fluid so no air could get in, and swapped it out with my dead one.
You do need flare nut wrenches and patience (the little suckers can be hard to start in the threads). I didn't have to get my computer reprogrammed.

Excellent.
So what kind of symptoms were you having?
My pedal gets soft sometimes and sometimes when I'm pressing on the brakes and it's got a good pedal, if I hit the pedal kinda hard or hit a bump, rock or small pothole while pressing the brakes I get a buzzing sound that sounds like it's coming from under the hood where the ABS is and the pedal starts to go down until I pump it up again.

My ABS light was on. I went through the flowchart and found that there was a solenoid valve internal that had failed and can't be fixed. For $50, it was cheaper than modulemasters and I needed it quick for inspection.
Yours sounds more like master cylinder or brake booster problems, though.

Well, I thought so at first until I found this site. The noise is def. from an electronic source.
