Default Engine Mount Help

Has anyone replaced engine mounts in their 91 S10 Blazer? Mine has the 4.3 liter 4x4 and it looks almost impossible to change the engine mounts without pulling the engine completely. I really want to avoid that if possible. This is a 1991 that I bought for $350.00 so I definitely won't pay the mechanic $400.00 to change it for me. Any help is appreciated.

They are very easy and if there bad they'll fall apart . I knew mine were bad when I changed them but I didn't no they were that bad . You do have to jack the engine up a bit though .

GEEZ... I think this engine mount project will certainly be as much of a P.I.T.A as it looks like. I've peeked around in there and fear that I will be removing both of the exhaust manifolds to do it. I really wanted to avoid that but I'm not paying someone to do it. Thanks for the link, I will buy mounts from somewhere besides auto zone.

So I finally got around to these engine mounts last weekend. It ended up being alot easier than I thought. I bought some performance mounts made by energy suspension. They were much easier to install because of the improved access to the 3rd bolt over the stock replacement part which is a real pain to get the top bolt on. here's a link to the part I bought... about halfway down the page.91 1991 Chevrolet S10 Blazer Engine Mount - Engine Mechanical - DEA, Energy Suspension, Westar, Left and Right - PartsGeek

i've been procrastinating doing mine as well. I haven't been driving mine due to the fact that my mount is COMPLETELY gone. I need the bolts and they are $90 at a local chevy dealership + the mount. Im hoping maybe a friend can help me and i can put it on myself. Mine is a 96 though, not to sure if they change the mounts or placement of the mounts from the earlier years.

Any info would be appreciated!!!
