Default Extended crank when starting cold....?

I have a 94 S10 Blazer 4.3l 2dr 4X4 and when I start the thing cold it takes me having to tap the gas a little before it starts. It runs great after starting and when it has been ran and is warm, it starts right up. I just replaced the EGR and cleaned the throttle body and and upper intake with Seafoam DeepCreep (which works great). I haven't changed the cap, rotor, wires, and plugs yet but I do plan on it. What could be the issue?

The plugs and other ignition parts can cause that, so can low fuel pressure caused by a weak fuel pump or a clogged filter.

next time you start cold, let it sit in run but dont crank for about 5 seconds to see if once it gains some pressure in the fuel system up it'll start easier.

I do let the fuel pump run before I crank everytime I start it. Pump sounds strong (not saying that means it is) but I do not have a fuel pressure gauge to check it. I am calling a mechanic friend of mine tonight to borrow his...

When itI does start it smells of fuel, almost like it is flooded. It runs fine though......I guess I'll just wait and see
