Default A few Problems....

Hey all, this is my first post on here. I just bought an '89 blazy and I LOVE it. It does have its quirks though. It only has 76,000 miles and is in showroom condition (ill post pics later). It runs pretty much perfect, but I was noticing that if its hot outside and I have been sitting in traffic with my A/C on high, the engine temps really gets up. It gets to around 210, normal for it is less than half that... Other than this, it NEVER gets hot.Is this normal, or amI paranoid? Should I replace my t-stat and coolant?

Also, my passenger window doesnt work (electric). It goes down like 3 inches then makes a loud clicking noise and stops. It also makes the noise when it stops at the top.... What could this be? I was told by a friend that it could be a clip of some type...???

My other problem is that thetailgate lock is busted. I know I have to replace it, and i have the part ($10)but I cant even lower the tailgate to get the inside panel off. How can I get the damn tailgate down??? Or can I pull the inside panel off while the tailgate is up???

Thanks for any input! Sorry my first post has to be of this nature...

Ya I'm in tucson... the temp only gets up to 200 when Im sitting still for a while (ideling) with the a/c on high.... when i start moving it gets back down to normal ~ 150. I found someone to help me with the tailgate, but I'm still lost with the window... any ideas? I will actually be up in phx next weekend to take care of some buisness...

from reading this thread, i think all you need to do is unscrew the handle on the inside, pry off the trim and pop out a spring....
