Default Fuel Tanks

Hi,

I'm looking for a 13 gallon fuel tank for an s-10 blazer. Which models in what years had this tank?

Thanks,

Eric

My 93 holds about 55 litres or 13 gallons. My brothers 2002 s10 also holds the same, but they wont be the same tank. Do a little reading here www.rockauto.com they have a wicked parts cataloug online that you can compare the part numbers with since you didnt tell us what year of blazer you are even working with...

Thanks that was helpful. The thing is... I'm not working with an s-10. I've got a '72 Toyota Land Cruiser which has its stock gas tank in the cab underneath the passenger's seat... I want to change this so i can lower the passenger seats. I heard an s10 tank fits perfectly between the frame rails and with the crossmembers, and it does. The problem is, it sits above the axle and the 20 gallon one i bought only has about 6 inches of clearance between the diff and the tank. Getting the 13 gallon one would give a little more clearance so I don't hit it when i'm off roading. A picture just for kicks:

And how the heck were any of us supposed to know that???

The fact remains that you can browse through the different year s-series vehicles on RockAuto.com to find a 13 gallon tank.

Ive bought stuff from Rockauto before too, ships in about 5 days and I saved about a thousand bucks on 2 front hub berrings for a Durango from the NAPA price where I live. Bought other stuff too and its always cheaper.

Cool Landcruiser too!

Thanks!

I'm actually going to try to get a tank locally from a yard or something...hopefully that will be cheaper.

this weekend a local yard is having $50 all you can take so i'll pick up like 4 tanks and hopefully one of them will work....ranging from an s-10 to hyundai excel. I'm really hoping it'll work.

Thanks for the help,

Eric
